Reorganized to explore new research possibilities > Center for Life Science Technologies

It is with great sorrow that we received the news about the Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people now suffering and we hope for their safety and health.

RIKEN Omics Science Center was lucky enough not to suffer any injuries among its staff. All researchers and staff members have been confirmed to be safe. We would like to thank all of you who have shown us your kind care and assistance.

Although we had to stop the continuous sequencing tasks due to this earthquake, we are currently making every effort to re-start the standard research activities and the sequencing tasks by comissioning regarding the FANTOM5 and the Cell Innovation Project. Your continued assistance and understanding in these trying times is greatly appreciated.
